40 Random Acts of Kindness

On September 1st I will celebrate my 40th birthday (YIKES!!!) And one way I would like to celebrate is by doing 40 Acts of Random Kindness. While I certainly cannot take credit for this idea as it has been done many times, I feel that it is a great way to spread kindness and love to others. My friend Robyn Baldwin inspired me more recently by reading her blog and how she celebrated her 30th with 30 Acts of Kindness.

I want to share this with a group of special and important people in my life who I would love to get involved. Not only am I celebrating a milestone birthday in a unique way, it also encourages acts of kindness and illustrates the positive power of social media to make a great idea contagious. My belief is that everybody can use an Act of Kindness and it is simple to do and anyone can get involved including your children!
