Refreshing and nutritious smoothie to start your day or for a quick pick me up mid afternoon! 

Try my cocoa Berry Smoothie for an energy boost! Key ingredient…..Maca! Maca is one of the ultimate energy boosting superfoods, maca can reduce the effects of cortisol on the adrenal glands (and other organs) caused by stress from work, disease, exercise, PTSD, a high pressure lifestyle, or any other factor. Maca helps alleviate mental, emotional, and physical stress on the body. It also increases stamina, endurance, and strengthens the immune system while acting as a powerful adaptogen.

1          scoop whey protein powder (vanilla)

1          cup mixed berries (blueberries, blackberries, strawberries)

1          cup water

2          teaspoons chia seeds

1          tablespoon Cacao

1          teaspoon Maca

Dash of cinnamon

Place all ingredients together in a blender and blend at high speed until smooth.
