Focus your Energy on YOU and See How your Happiness Shines!

Last weekend I spent time with a couple of my most loved best friends doing what any other true friends would do…sharing stories, a few laughs, confiding in one another about life and perhaps all over a glass or wine or two.  It is interesting how we all come from different places and life journey’s and are still able to relate, understand and connect some how at the same level.  It really makes me feel comfortable knowing that I’m not the only one who goes through challenges in life and who is not perfect.  In fact, no one is perfect and that is what makes us all unique.  Everyone has his or her story to tell.

I have never been a person to judge other people.  I have always met people with an open heart for who they are.    We all have our stories, some good and some not so good but as I have grown and experienced life I have come to realize that there is always a reason for someone’s actions, right or wrong, and that does not define who they are as a person.  However it is with these actions that we must learn to grow and improve to become a better person for others and most importantly ourselves.  One thing I have learned and experienced over the years, as a fitness professional, is that fitness and nutrition play a VERY important part in empowering people from the inside out to become the BEST and HAPPIEST that they can be.

Each day I work closely with women, men and athletes who come to me either extremely strong or completely broken.  It is my passion to help build them to be the BEST version of their self through setting goals, incorporating fitness and healthy nutrition into their lifestyle, creating balance and most importantly teaching them self worth.  As an athletic trainer and nutritionist my job is far more important than just teaching a few key exercises and proper nutrition.  Each day I work closely with people to not only improve their physical appearance but as well to empower the mind. I know for a fact that setting goals, believing in your self, exercising daily, eating fresh clean foods, empowering the mind with positive affirmations and learning to live a balanced healthy lifestyle are all powerful tools to help reveal both your inner and outer beauty. But most importantly what really shines through is your true happiness with yourself and this is what will empower you to be the best version of YOU!
