What were your health and fitness goals when you started training with Karen?

To lose some weight and strengthen and tone my muscles.

What are your main reasons for choosing Karen as your personal trainer?

I chose Karen because she was very friendly and approachable but also because she practices what she preaches. She looks awesome!!

What health and fitness improvements have you achieved so far since training with Karen?

I have lost weight and I also feel stronger than I have ever felt.

What has benefited you the most when training with Karen?

She has taught me so much about form and also not to be afraid of trying heavier weights.

How has your nutrition improved since you first starting training?

I was always confused about the amount of good fats to include in my diet. Karen has taught me how to balance my diet, including good fats which is such a healthier way to eat and you lose weight!


What do you like most about training with Karen?

Karen is a pleasure to train with – she is a wonderful person.


Would you recommend Karen as a trainer? Why?

Yes, I would highly recommend Karen as a trainer. She provides excellent information on nutrition, health and training. Her workouts are rigorous but she is always encouraging and positive.

What are your favorite “diet” and “non-diet” foods?

I like that I don’t have to cut out any food groups with her diet like so many other diets do. My favorite non-diet food is white French bread – yum!


What is/are your favorite exercises?

Skull crushers because I can feel the little tricep pop out!


What are your most memorable moments training with Karen?

My first monthly weigh in when I realized this is really working!!


What are your greatest fitness accomplishments so far?

Seeing my body shape change and and becoming stronger is a wonderful accomplishment. I thought it was too late in life to start looking better but I was very wrong.
