What were your fitness and competition goals when you started training with Karen?
I was interested in doing a figure competition and needed some guidance since I had been doing the same thing for the past few years I was not noticing any changes or results. A big thing I needed help with was my diet.
What are your main reasons for choosing Karen as your personal trainer?
I chose Karen as I had seen the results from other girls that I met at the gym. They look amazing!
What improvements have you achieved so far in your physique?
Improvements in every aspect of my physique! I have lost weight, I’m more toned and my god I have abs! I have a whole different body now.
What has benefited you the most when training with Karen?
I have learnt what types of foods to eat to stay active, healthy and give my body the nutrition that it needs.
What do you like most about your pre-contest training and diet?
I liked the challenge that Karen gives me with each new program. Challenging my body to do new exercises and push it to another level. Cardio was always tough for me.
Would you recommend Karen as a trainer? Why?
Of course and I do now all the time. She is AMAZING!
What is your favourite “cheat” or “indulgence” food?
Pizza is my favourite “cheat”. It has EVERYTHING on it that I can’t normally have, cheese, pepperoni, crust, and oh ya I do add vegetables like mushrooms and tomato.
What is/are your favourite exercises?
Push ups and tricep push ups, as I like to challenge myself to do more each time.
Any other comments?
I have met so many great people through out this experience. The people that I have met have become friends and a wonderful support system. Having positive support makes all the difference in the world. I also learnt that I can challenge myself both mentally and physically and can achieve any goal I put my mind to.
