What were your fitness and competition goals when you started training with Karen?

My fitness goal was to have better endurance and more strength, as far as the competition goes I need a challenge to work towards and I have always wanted to give something like this I try and as the saying goes I am not getting any younger. It was time for me to take a risk and bring my self awareness and body to a new level.

What are your main reasons for choosing Karen as your personal trainer?

My main reasons for choosing Karen were her wealth of knowledge, her experience in the fitness industry including her own competition experience. As well as her commitment to her clients. I need someone who was going to kick my butt and keep me on track and she is definitely the one to do it.

What improvements have you achieved so far in your physique?

So far I have lost 27 lbs, 11% body fat and have gained lean muscle mass. My body is much leaner, and I have more definition in my back, abs, and arms.

What has benefited you the most when training with Karen?

Her dedication and commitment. That she push me do to more then I think I can, and that she doesn’t let me give up.

What do you like most about your pre-contest training and diet?

I like the way I feel and look and the fact that I have more energy.

What is your favorite “cheat” or “indulgence” food?

I am not sure if I really have one, although right now Mexican is sounding good.

What is/are your favorite exercises?

My favorite exercise, is there such a thing? Let me see I like working my upper body more then my lower.

Any other comments?

Karen is a great trainer, she has stuck by me through this process and we still have a couple of months to go. I wouldn’t of wanted to do this with any one else. This has been a great challenge and a tone of hard work but well worth every sore muscle, and early morning rise (4:30am)
