Midlife doesn't hit one part of your life. It hits all of it at once.
Your body. Your relationships. Your career. Your confidence. Your parents.
Even the way you see yourself some mornings.
This chapter isn't quieter or smaller just because it's later. It's what becoming someone new looks like from the inside, and most days that means figuring it out as you go.
It's worth talking about anyway.
FIT4HER Unplugged is where the filters come off. We talk about perimenopause and body confidence next to divorce and caregiving and starting a career over at 50. Aging parents and relationships that need rebuilding, or ending.
Nothing gets skipped because it's uncomfortable.
The women on this show won't hand you a lesson. They'll show you what the other side really looks like. Karen lets each conversation go wherever it needs to go, messy middle included, because that's where the useful part usually is.
You'll hear what nobody says out loud at dinner with friends.
The gym is one place strength shows up. It also shows up in the hard year you get through when nothing about it was optional, in choosing your life instead of coasting through it

FIT4HER Unplugged is for the woman quietly asking herself what she wants the next chapter to look like, even if she hasn't said it out loud to anyone yet.
After more than 30 years in health and fitness, I've learned strength gets built in places that have nothing to do with a gym: heartbreak, reinvention, hard decisions, caregiving, starting over, and showing up when nothing goes the way you planned.
When I was in my early 40’s, my body was changing, my marriage was ending, and I was watching my parents age while my father moved through Alzheimer's. I needed a place to talk about what midlife looks and feels like, and I couldn't find one. So I built it.
Every episode pulls from personal stories, conversations, and trusted experts covering perimenopause, health, body confidence, relationships, caregiving, career changes, and starting over the parts of midlife women are usually expected to handle quietly.
Nobody here is performing wellness or pretending to have it figured out. This is real life, the whole complicated stretch of it, and it's worth talking about.

Karen is a fitness and nutrition coach, entrepreneur, former athlete, and the creator of FIT4HER.
With more than 30 years of experience in health, fitness, coaching, sales, and business, Karen has spent decades helping women build stronger bodies and more confident lives.
Now approaching midlife from the inside, she brings both professional expertise and personal experience to conversations about perimenopause, relationships, reinvention, caregiving, confidence, and the realities women face as they grow older.
Karen believes strength is built through every season—the workouts, heartbreaks, difficult decisions, fresh starts, and moments when we choose not to give up on ourselves.
Through FIT4HER Unplugged, she creates the kind of honest, supportive space where women can feel seen, learn from one another, and recognize that becoming older doesn’t mean becoming less. It means becoming more fully yourself.
