What were your fitness and competition goals when you started training with Karen?
I had been working out at the gym for about a year and was encouraged to consider entering fitness competitions. I was looking for a trainer who could take me to that next level.
What are your main reasons for choosing Karen as your personal trainer?
Karen came highly recommended as competition prep. trainer. I liked Karen’s philosophy and approach to overall fitness and nutrition. Karen was able to listen to my goals and help me put them into action
What improvements have you achieved so far in your physique?
I have been able to reduce my body fat percentage in preparation for competition. I have muscle definition that I never realized I had before.
What has benefited you the most when training with Karen?
I have a better knowledge of the importance of the balance of nutrition and technique in exercise. Karen has helped me change my physique to be better than it has ever been in my 53 years of life. This is the healthiest I have ever looked and felt.
What do you like most about your pre-contest training and diet?
Even though the pre-contest training can be a challenge to your stamina, Karen’s encouragement, enthusiasm and knowledge can keep you focused on your competition goal. The diet…..well…just remember it is only for a short period of time….and if you “stick to it” you will look great.
Would you recommend Karen as a trainer? Why?
Yes…Karen has the knowledge, personal experience and enthusiasm to help you reach your fitness goals.
What is your favorite “cheat” or “indulgence” food?
Italian food…pasta!!
What is/are your favorite exercises?
Upper body, chest and shoulders.
